Hockey
Hockey is a popular sport and as Skellefteå AIK is the champion in the SHL (Swedish Hockey League), there are of course the challengers to beat them.

Snowcross World Chamionship
On the 11th and 12th of April 2025 it will happen!
The world’s best scooter cross – live in Sweden!The world’s best snowcross riders gather at Drivecenter Arena’s new track in Sweden to settle in the prestigious WC final. Expect an adrenaline-fuelled weekend of fast pace, daring jumps and fierce competition as the sport’s elite battle it out for the world title.
The final of the FIM Snowcross World Championship, organized by Infront Moto Racing, is the highlight of the year for snowcross. The event includes both men’s and women’s competitions as well as the European Championship – a complete experience for all fans.
The races will run on Friday and Saturday.

Summer Activities
Storforsen Nature Reserve
The average water flow is 250 cubic meters per second and Storforsen never freezes despite temperatures down to minus 40 degrees Celsius in winter. The forces are so strong that even King Bore cannot subdue them.
The municipality of Älvsbyn is permeated by hundreds of lakes and waterways. The largest and most powerful is the 41-mile-long Piteälven, which winds its way through the municipality like a pulse. The Källsjöarna are located in the Sulitelma Massif near the Norwegian border. In Bredsel, the river offers Storforsen, which is Europe’s largest unbound rapid with a total drop height of 82 meters. Surrounded by a primeval forest with rich plant and animal life, Storforsen attracts and fascinates visitors all year round.
Come and join us to this beautiful nature reserve on a day tour through beautiful nature on a 2 hour drive, experience the amazing power of the water.
Byske River Fishing
The Byske river is well known for its fishing, especially Salmon and Sea Trout.
Only hundred meters away from our Stuga Selsmoran you will find the Byske River with an (almost) private fishing area.

There are some rules to protect the environment and a license is needed to maintain nature.

YOGA at the Byske River
An experienced Yoga teacher will take you down to the river side and in the middle of nature you will practise Yoga.
The Midnight Sun Race / Midnattsolsloppet
June 13th until June 15th it will happen again at DriveCenter Arena! Time for the Midnattsolsloppet!
This summer, it is once again time for Sweden’s racing elite to settle on Scandinavia’s longest and most modern racing track here at Drivecenter Arena. As always, it will be a weekend for the whole family, filled with great racing and entertainment.
At the Midnattssolsloppet you can see the racing elite from all over Scandinavia fight for the titles under a magnificent midnight sun.
As early as 2008, there was a vision to create Sweden’s northernmost competition track. After some time, this is realized with the goal that by the summer of 2019, a 4.2 km long track racing track will be ready, ready to host the Midnight Sun Race.
It was then 50 years since the last competition of the Midnattsloppet was run and we are proud to revive the tradition with the ambition to become the most well-attended motorcycle competition in Sweden.
The midnight sun race is organized at the Drivecenter Arena in Fällfors, only a few minutes from Stuga Selsmoran, so stay with us while enjoying the races at DriveCenter!
Scandinavian Festival of Speed
From the 1st until the 4th of August 2025, the Scandinavian Festival of Speed will take place near Selsmoran!
It will be organized at the Drivecenter Arena in Fällfors. A car festival packed with track driving, drifting, show cars, entertainment, good food and cold drinks.
